Jeff and Ivana Norris
Raised in Brazil from 14-months of age, Jeffrey Norris married Ivana, a Brazilian teacher in the Rio de Janeiro Bible school, in 1983. Together they worked in the Bible school and pastored a church in one of Rio de Janeiro’s slums as AIMers until 1985. They were appointed as career missionaries and returned to Brazil in 1989. In March 1997 they reopened the Rio de Janeiro Bible school. They have started two two-year classes: an all-day Saturday class and a three-night-a-week class in order to work with the student’s schedules. Norris serves on the district board as vice-president of Rio de Janeiro. Ivana Norris continues to direct the Ladies’ Ministries. They both teach in the Bible school and pastor in the city of Rio de Janeiro.
